For restaurant owners

Got a preview from us?

If we sent you a link to a preview of a new website for your restaurant, here’s what it is and how it works.

What it is

It’s a concept: a real website we designed for your restaurant, to show what your site could look like. We built it before contacting you, so you can see the work instead of imagining it. The bar across the top says it isn’t your official website, and it stays there until you decide you want the site.

It’s private

The preview isn’t on the public internet. Search engines can’t find it, and it opens only with the private link we sent you (or its access code). Your customers won’t come across it. The link works for 60 days.

Where the details come from

Only from public information about your business: your Google listing, your own website and social pages, and sometimes public records such as a new business registration. We check every fact against where it came from, and a person reviews every preview before it’s sent.

We don’t use photos from review sites. If the preview shows photos of your food, they come from your own website or social accounts. If anything is wrong or out of date, tell us and we’ll fix it.

It’s free

You don’t owe us anything, and there’s nothing to sign up for. If you like it, reply to our email and we’ll talk about putting it live on your own domain.

We’ll never ask for passwords, payment or your login details in an email, and the preview never asks you to type anything in. If a message claiming to be from us does, it isn’t from us.

Not interested?

That’s completely fine. Reply to our email with “stop”, or write to hello@neighborhoodwebdesign.com. We’ll take the preview down and won’t contact you again.
