We’re a small business that builds websites for restaurants. Here’s what information we use and how to ask us to stop.

This website

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and it loads nothing from other companies. Our hosting provider may keep basic request records, such as addresses and times, to keep the site secure and running.

How we find restaurants

We look for independent restaurants that don’t have a website, or whose site needs help. We only use information that’s public:

• business listings, such as Google’s
• the business’s own website and social media pages
• public records, such as new business registrations and license applications

We keep business details, not personal ones: the restaurant’s name, address, hours, menu, and the contact details it publishes for customers, such as its phone number and business email. We don’t buy lists, and we don’t sell what we keep.

Previews and emails

If we think we can help, we may build a private preview of a website and email the business about it. Previews are private and aren’t found by search engines (more about previews). Every email says who we are and how to stop hearing from us.

Opting out

Reply “stop” to any email from us, or write to hello@neighborhoodwebdesign.com. We’ll stop contacting you, take down any preview we made, and keep only what we need to make sure we don’t contact you again.
